This repository contains supplemental material for the "Spatial2Galaxy" (S2G) project, an initiative funded under the ELIXIR Cellular and Molecular Research priority area (2024-2028). The overarching purpose of the S2G project is to bridge the critical gap between the rapid emergence of high-resolution Spatial Transcriptomics (ST) technologies and the availability of accessible, standardized computational infrastructure. While ST has revolutionized the study of transcriptional pathology across diverse domains, including oncology, neuroscience, and plant biology, the current analytical ecosystem remains highly fragmented, difficult for bench scientists to navigate, and lacking in reproducible standards. S2G addresses these challenges by developing a self-contained, scalable, and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) spatial analysis platform integrated directly into the Galaxy ecosystem.
