This is a collection of descriptions and folktales in Kîîtharaka (Bantu), recorded in the towns of Marimanti and Nkondi, Tharaka-Nithi County, Kenya, in July and August 2025. The recordings contain numerous adjectives and other expressions of property concepts. Together with a large collection of elicited data, this collection formed the basis of a study of the augment (a.k.a. 'pre-prefix' or 'initial vowel') in Kîîtharaka (https://hdl.handle.net/1887/5002729).
