Optimizing nano urea for enhancing economic of rice, nutrient acquisition and nitrogen use efficiency in the Chhattisgarh plains
Résumé fourni par la source
The experiment was conducted during Kharif -2025 at the Instructional Cum Research Farm of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur to optimize the nano urea for enhancing rice productivity, nutrient acquisition and nitrogen use efficiency in the Chhattisgarh plains. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. Different treatments also had a significant effect on nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium uptake by the rice crop. The highest nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium uptake were recorded under 100% NPK +2 spray of Nano Urea Plus (@0.4%) at 45-50 DAT and 60-65 DAT (T12), while the lowest in the control. Nitrogen use efficiency was highest (49.62%) in the treatment with 75% N, 100% P and K +2 foliar sprays of Nano Urea Plus (@0.4%) at 45–50 and 60–65 DAT (T10). Agronomical efficiency (AE) ranged from 28.53 to 43.76 kg kg⁻¹, physiological efficiency (PE) from 142.18 to 198.68 kg kg⁻¹, agro-physiological efficiency (APE) from 65.06 to 90.19 kg kg⁻¹, apparent recovery efficiency (ARE) from 38.66 to 49.63%, and utilization efficiency (EU) from 61.80 to 96.41 kg kg⁻¹. The treatment comprising 50% N and 100% P and K + two foliar sprays of Nano Urea Plus (@0.4%) at 45–50 and 60–65 DAT (T6) recorded the highest AE (43.76 kg kg⁻¹), PE (198.68 kg kg⁻¹), APE (90.19 kg kg⁻¹) and EU (96.41 kg kg⁻¹). The highest ARE (49.63%) was recorded with 75% N and 100% P and K + two sprays of Nano Urea Plus (@0.4%) at 45–50 and 60–65 DAT (T10), followed by T6 and T8 (50% N/67% N and 100% P & K + two Nano Urea Plus sprays). The lowest AE (28.53 kg kg⁻¹) and ARE (38.66%) were observed under 100% N, P and K (T5), while the lowest PE and APE were recorded under 50% N and 100% P and K (T2) and the lowest EU (61.80 kg kg⁻¹) under 100% N, P and K with one Nano Urea Plus spray at 60–65 DAT (T11). The maximum benefit-cost ratio was achieved with 100% NPK + 1 spray of Nano Urea Plus (@0.4%) at 60–65 DAT (T11), which found almost similar to 75% NPK + 1 or 2 spray of nano urea plus (@0.4%) at 45-50 DAT and 60-65 DAT, whereas lowest under control (T1).
