Primary Diffuse Large T-cell Lymphoma of Bone: First Case Report from Senegal and Review of the African Literature

ABSTRACT Primary diffuse large T-cell lymphoma of bone is extremely rare, and the literature in this field in Africa is scare. We received a 48-year-old man for bone pain in the right forefoot and extremities of the femur and tibia, evolving for a year. Investigations revealed multiple suspicious osteolytic lesions on these sites, whose anatomopathological analysis led to the diagnosis of a mulitifocal malignant non-Hodgkin's T-cell bone lymphoma. Primary bone T-cell lymphoma remains relatively undescribed and little known in the literature due to its extremely low prevalence. In this report, we review the African literature to highlight this entity as a cause of primary bone tumor.
