Integrated Steering of Qur’anic Readings in Surah Ar-Rahman and Its Impact on Meaning Construction: A Multi-faceted Linguistic-Contextual Study
Résumé fourni par la source
This study aims to reveal the impact of the integrated steering of mutawatir and anomalous Qur’anic readings on meaning construction and the formation of the semantic structure of Surah Ar-Rahman, through a multi-faceted linguistic-contextual analysis. The research adopted a descriptive-analytical comparative approach to extrapolate textual evidence and grammatical, morphological, and phonetic steerings across more than (40) references, alongside seven primary sources, including: Ma'ani al-Qur'an by al-Farra', Al-Hujjah by al-Farisi, Al-Muhtasab by Ibn Jinni, Al-Kashf by Makki ibn Abi Talib, Al-Bahr al-Muhit by Abu Hayyan, Tafsir al-Qurtubi, and Fath al-Qadir by al-Shawkani. The study comprised two main sections: the first covered the conceptual and scientific framework of readings, their sources, significance, and steering for meaning construction; the second examined the impact of multi-faceted integrated steering of Qur’anic readings in Surah Ar-Rahman on meaning construction across seven sub-sections encompassing prominent reading evidences and steerings. Findings revealed that structural shifts (such as alternating between active and passive voices, shifting among nominative, accusative, and genitive cases, and diversifying morphological forms) expand interpretive horizons and highlight the expressional dynamism of the reading phenomenon. Furthermore, the integration among linguistic and contextual steering facets deepens the thematic unity of the Surah, connecting the affirmation of divine blessings with the vivid depiction of recompense scenes. The study concluded that reading diversity is not merely acoustic variation, but rather a semantic treasure and an inimitably miraculous rhetorical structure that integrates to enrich the Qur’anic context.
