Spatial ecosystem remodeling from gastric to hepatic niches underlies metastatic adaptation in gastric cancer[Xenium]

To systematically dissect the mechanisms of GCLM, we assembled a cohort of 31 patients with GC, including 4 with lymph node involvement, 14 with non‑liver distant metastases, and 13 with liver metastases. Primary tumors were collected and classified as GC-LN (with lymph node metastases), GC-LM (with liver metastases), and GC-OM (with other metastases) accordingly. Hepatic metastatic lesions were obtained from 9 patients and designated as LM-GC. In total, we profiled 39 samples by scRNA‑seq, and applied Xenium In Situ spatial transcriptomics (5K gene panels) to 23 samples from 17 patients.
