A FastMCP stdio server exposing NDL Search, operated by the National Diet Library of Japan, over the SRU searchRetrieve interface as six tools: books, articles, the national bibliography, open digital collections, a cross-type search and single-record lookup. Implements the undertakings filed with the library — serial requests at a minimum one-second interval, a capped record count with no auto-pagination, no harvesting interface, only approved data providers reachable, credit on every response, nothing cached. No credential is required. Responses use the shared typed envelope and deposit to an append-only hash-chained query ledger. Works with any MCP-compatible client.
