Dataset compiling global turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) production from capture fisheries and aquaculture for the period 1950–2023. Data were obtained from FAO FishStatJ global production datasets and processed for use in the doctoral thesis Natural Aeromonas salmonicida infection in farmed turbot: an integrated approach to pathology and diagnosis. The dataset contains annual production values used to generate the historical production figures included in the thesis. Original data source: Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), FishStatJ.
