Le résumé fourni par la source
Net primary production (NPP) usually increases with plant richness (S) because of the complementary use of resources by species with different ecological niches. However, higher temperature and lower rainfall, two major components of climate change, can modify the performance of plant species and alter these relationships. To assess these effects, a field experiment was conducted with herbaceous plants native to the Chihuahuan Desert. This repository contains the data gathered in that experiment, which support the results of the manuscript “Relationships between net primary production and plant diversity under climate change”.
