Le résumé fourni par la source
Zhang et al. identified a shared epigenetic architecture linking chronic pain and trait anxiety across independent chronic and acute TMD cohorts. The study included two cohorts from the Orofacial Pain: Prospective Evaluation and Risk Assessment (OPPERA) study: OPPERA I comprised 932 participants from a case–control study of chronic painful temporomandibular disorder (TMD), while OPPERA II included 77 participants from a longitudinal study of recent-onset painful TMD. Here, we provide Supplementary Data supporting the findings of this study.
