Processed data for RETrace2: Retrospective single-cell lineage tracing with highly mutable homopolymers. This dataset contains processed single-cell microsatellite and methylation sequencing data generated using RETrace2, a dual-omic method for simultaneous lineage tracing and cell-type identification. RETrace2 uses homopolymer microsatellites as lineage markers, which are ~2x more informative than other repeat types, enabling lineage resolution of <5 cell divisions in microsatellite-unstable cells. Data includes microsatellite genotypes, phylogenetic trees, and associated quality metrics from in vitro cell line experiments and in vivo mouse models.
