Tree geographical origin shapes seasonal metabolomic profiles of adult Scots pine fine roots - metadata
Résumé fourni par la source
The dataset comprises non-transformed data generated during high-throughput, non-targeted metabolome analyses of roots of adult Scot pine trees used in the paper ‘Tree geographical origin shapes seasonal metabolomic profiles of adult Scots pine fine roots’ (Agnieszka Szuba et al.). In this study, we analysed data from a comparative metabolome analysis of fine Scot pine roots collected from trees growing as part of a 54-year common garden experiment established in the Zwierzyniec Experimental Forest, near Kórnik, Poland. The trees originated from two provenances – the local Kórnik (KO) and the Pieniny National Park (PPN), characterised by cooler and wetter environmental conditions (compared to Kórnik). This research was supported by a 2019/35/B/NZ8/01361 grant funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) to Joanna Mucha and by the Institute of Dendrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS).
