This deliverable (D2.4) consolidates insights, lessons learned, and stakeholder testimony from the demonstration sites, focusing on best practices and their potential for replication and scaling across the Mediterranean. It highlights how site-based evidence improves understanding of key water challenges such as scarcity, variability, ecosystem pressures, and inefficiencies in storage and distribution. Across cases, integrated approaches combining monitoring, modelling, and stakeholder engagement show clear added value for improving system understanding and supporting more adaptive management. The synthesis identifies transferable practices in data integration, decision-support, and Nature-based Solutions, while also highlighting enabling conditions for their effectiveness. Overall, the deliverable provides an evidence base for Mediterranean-scale application of OurMED approaches, outlining pathways for scalability and improved water management.
