Ocean-Data-Lab/ooipy: v1.3.0 — restore LF data access after irisws-timeseries retirement
Résumé fourni par la source
Migrate LF hydrophone requests to EarthScope fdsnws-dataselect EarthScope retired irisws-timeseries, along with its server-side DSP microservices (tracedsp, rotation, audio, plotter, ms2sac, ms2ascii), on 2026-08-26. The endpoint now answers every request with HTTP 410, so get_acoustic_data_LF has returned None for all time windows since that date, for every LF node. The old code caught requests.HTTPError and printed "likely that time window doesn't have data", which made a dead service indistinguishable from a data gap and hid the outage. point __build_LF_URL at service.earthscope.org/fdsnws/dataselect/1 with FDSN parameter names (starttime/endtime), returning raw miniseed apply the retired server-side processing client-side with obspy: zero_mean via detrend, correct via remove_response using station metadata from fdsnws-station, and filtering via Stream.filter correct=True now warns, since compute_spectrogram and compute_psd_welch apply calibration a second time fmin/fmax alone now give a highpass/lowpass instead of building a malformed two-sided bp= request distinguish 204/404 (no data, returns None) from other statuses, which now raise instead of masquerading as absent data add regression tests for a date past the retirement, a window with genuinely no data, and the client-side processing paths
