Résumé fourni par la source

Survey data and complete analysis code for a cross-sectional study of disclosure of sexual orientation and gender identity to medical staff, and of perceived discrimination in healthcare, among LGBTQIA+ adults in Romania (n = 503; 342 LGBTQIA+ and 161 cisgender heterosexual respondents, collected October–November 2024). Everything reported in the paper and its supplementary material can be regenerated from these files with two commands. Contents survey_responses.xlsx — survey export; 525 responses, 28 columns qualitative_coding.csv — themes independently assigned by two coders to the 307 free-text answers codebook.md — variable definitions, response options, theme and cluster definitions prep.py — shared data preparation: recoding, exclusion, subgroup derivation quantitative_analysis.py — Tables 1–3 and all quantitative results, including sensitivity analyses and reliability statistics qualitative_analysis.py — Tables 4–6: inter-rater agreement, cluster structure, cluster endorsement quantitative_output.txt, qualitative_output.txt — output of the above, for reference README.md — instructions for reproducing the results, and the statistical conventions needed to reproduce the interval estimates No pre-cleaned data file is needed or provided. Both scripts start from the raw export and perform all recoding, exclusion and derivation themselves, so every decision between the survey and the published numbers is visible in the code rather than embedded in an intermediate spreadsheet. What is not included, and why The free text of the open-ended item is not deposited; column 28 of survey_responses.xlsx records only whether an answer was given. The thematic coding was performed manually by two coders, and no published result is computed from the text itself: every kappa, cluster frequency and comparison derives from the theme codes in qualitative_coding.csv, so the complete analysis reproduces without it. The answers are short accounts of respondents' beliefs and, in some cases, experiences of discrimination in healthcare, given by members of a population with no legal protection against discrimination on these grounds in the country studied. Participants consented to publication of aggregate findings. Representative quotations, screened for identifying detail, are published in the supplementary material of the paper. Ethics Approved by the Bioethics Committee of Transilvania University of Brașov (no. 14041/23.09.2024), with an amendment covering the thematic analysis (no. 21531/04.02.2026). All participants gave informed consent. The survey collected no name, email address, IP address or timestamp.
