Generative artificial intelligence chatbots and suicidal behavior in adolescents and young adults: protocol for a systematic review

The objective of this project is to conduct a systematic review of the available evidence on the relationship between the use of generative AI chatbots and suicidal ideation or suicidal behavior among adolescents and young adults. The findings are expected to improve our understanding of this emerging relationship and serve as a foundation for future research, clinical recommendations, and public health policies that address the impact of AI on young people’s mental health.
