The symbol (uppercase Z, with a stroke through it and a small hat above the letter) is adopted as the characteristic algebraic notation to represent the nontrivial zero operator in the pre-Planckian limit. The symbol is the representation of the fundamental quantum operator of Zero Operator Theory.
