This dataset provides the review-level supporting materials for the systematic review, “An RTE approach for improving reproducibility, transparency and the use of generative and explainable AI in monkeypox detection.” The deposit supports independent inspection of the study extraction process, reproducibility assessment, risk-of-bias assessment, search documentation, bibliometric analysis, and retrospective application of the proposed RTE-GenAI framework. The deposited materials include the full extraction matrix for the 55 included studies; study characteristics and reported performance data; the complete six-indicator reproducibility coding matrix and aggregate results; study-level and aggregate QUADAS-2 assessments; database-specific search strategies, recorded search yields, and PRISMA selection-flow information; the PRISMA 2020 checklist; the complete 12-criterion RTE-GenAI scoring rubric; criterion-level evidence and scores for the five-study retrospective illustrative application; and the available bibliometric cluster summary. The searches were conducted during September 2025. Exact day-level search execution dates were not retained in the contemporaneous review records and have therefore not been retrospectively reconstructed. Similarly, a complete study-level log of the 46 full-text exclusions was not retained. The available revision records also did not contain the original VOSviewer term-list export, parameter/settings file, or original bibliometric cleaning and plotting scripts. These unavailable historical artefacts have not been reconstructed or invented. The deposit is intended to improve transparency, reproducibility, and independent verification of the review and to provide the operational materials underlying the RTE-GenAI framework.
