Odontomas are the most common odontogenic benign tumors composed of dental tissue. Usually asymptomatic and mostly detected on routine radiographic examination.Case description: A 14-year-old male patient reported with a complaint of a retained milk tooth in upper front tooth region. Radiographic examination reveals multiple tooth-like structures in maxillary anterior region. Excision of around 4-5 odontomas was done under local anesthesia. Following the procedure, the healing was uneventful, and the patient is on regular follow-up for the management of midline diastemaThe histopathological investigation revealed sections showing tooth-like structures composed of Abnormal enamel and dentin surrounded by cementum. The root is surrounded by fibrous tissue suggestive of compound odontome. Connective tissueClinical significance: Timely detection of odontomes and surgical enucleation is often advised to prevent over-retention, impaction, and delayed eruption of permanent teeth
