Role of Exercise Induced Myokines on the Human Body – A systematic review

Background: The heavily vascularized muscles in the skeleton can release the chemical substances myokines, these can regulate biological events like metabolism, angiogenesis, and inflammation. Myokines has autocrine effect, paracrine and endocrine effects. Dysregulated myokine emit from skeletal muscles is being linked to a variety of illnesses, including hereditary myopathies and malignancies. Objectives: The present systematic review aims to present a thorough analysis and review of numerous effects of exercise induced myokines, myokine on lipid metabolism, myokine on glucose and it also gives the research gap and done in order to gain a greater understanding and figure out the direction of future research. Design/methodology/approach: A thorough analysis of theoretical and qualitative investigations that have been released in trusted publications, as well as a list of papers that meet its determined search criteria for acceptance. Findings: The present study findings indicated that more research has been conducted on myokines, particularly in the areas of obesity, heart disease and pregnancy. Despite the fact that research on exercise-induced myokines is still lacking in both developed and developing nations of the world, the issue is one that is rapidly rising in scientific literature worldwide.
