This is the protocol of a rapid review aimed at: (a) identifying and synthesizing recruitment and retention strategies used in postpartum diabetes prevention program studies among women with recent gestational diabetes that achieved recruitment and retention targets; and (b) describing recruitment and retention adaptations implemented by studies that encountered challenges in achieving recruitment and retention targets.
