Supporting Foster Parents in Caring for Youth in a Single Session: Nonrandomized Pilot Trial of Project WING
Le résumé fourni par la source
This is a pre-registration of a planned study to conduct a non-randomized pilot trial of a newly developed, digital, self-guided single-session mental health intervention (SSI), named Project WING. The SSI was developed to support caregivers supporting foster youth by teaching principles of functional behavior analysis, as well as helping caregivers cultivate self-compassion for themselves and curiosity in response to challenging behaviors from foster youth. This study will be conducted in collaboration between the Lab for Scalable Mental Health (LSMH), based in the Department of Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, and the Florida Institute for Child Welfare (FICW), based out of Florida State University's College of Social Work.
