Implementasi P5 Melalui Pengenalan Dasar Penyiapan Bahan Tanam pada Siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan

The Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) is part of the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, which encourages students to think critically and contribute positively to society. This community service activity aimed to improve students' knowledge and skills in preparing planting materials for urban farming systems and to provide hands-on experience that supports the implementation of P5 at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan, North Kalimantan. The participants were 60 students from classes 8A and 8B of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan. The activities consisted of classroom socialization, training, and mentoring through hands-on practice on the school grounds, covering planting materials, growing media, seed sowing, preparation of hydroponic nutrient solution, and transplanting. The activity was evaluated descriptively through direct observation of students' participation, interest, enthusiasm, and ability to perform the practical stages. The evaluation showed that all planned stages of the activity (100%) were completed successfully. Students demonstrated high interest and enthusiasm and showed improved knowledge, understanding, and practical skills, particularly in preparing planting materials and carrying out cultivation practices in urban farming systems. The activity also supported students' awareness of food sustainability issues and the development of entrepreneurial insight
