0.11.2 (2026-09-01) Removed the unused numpy dependency. climate_categories never imports numpy, specific versioning is not needed anymore. Moved the release process into GitHub Actions. Maintainers now start a release from the Actions tab and pick patch, minor or major instead of running tbump locally; publishing to PyPI uses trusted publishing and the citation information in the README is updated automatically once zenodo has minted the DOI. Regenerate all cached Python specs from the YAML files during the release, and check in CI that the two are in sync, so the shipped caches cannot go stale. Added the categories keyword to the show_as_tree function to limit the shown categories easily. Added support for Python 3.14, dropped support for Python 3.11. Raised the minimum pyparsing version to 3.2.3, the first release that does not use return inside a finally block. Python 3.14 flags that as a SyntaxWarning (PEP 765), so older versions could not be imported cleanly on Python 3.14. Fixed a file descriptor leak: Categorization.conversion_to never closed the conversion CSV file it opened. Replaced deprecated pyparsing camelCase API calls with their current equivalents.
