Rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal conditions in Timor-Leste: A global health approach

This conference poster presents a planned mixed-methods situational analysis of rehabilitation services for musculoskeletal conditions within the Timor-Leste health system. The study is guided by the World Health Organization Systematic Assessment of Rehabilitation Situation (STARS) framework and Template for Rehabilitation Information Collection (TRIC). It will map rehabilitation service availability, organisation and resource distribution and identify system-level gaps and opportunities for strengthening care. The work forms part of an RMIT University PhD programme examining rehabilitation system strengthening in Timor-Leste and incorporates stakeholder consultation, document analysis and quantitative and qualitative TRIC data.
