At present, the event planning and designing industry is facing significant changes due to the involvement of technological innovations and continuous consumer expectations. This chapter explores a major comprehensive analysis, especially focusing on the emerging trends of these event management sectors, which are also a part of the hospitality and tourism sector. This chapter also covers how modern innovation like artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) has limitless possibilities to ensure the fulfilment of guest expectations in delivering exceptional services in the success of the event. Sustainability initiatives that include effective waste management, developing ecofriendly design, and catering to develop growing environmental impacts are also elaborated here. Besides that, this chapter also delves into the substantial shifts in arranging virtual or hybrid events, which may have a trajectory in the event business due to the present rise of expectations in customised experiences. The authors have clearly explained the planning, design, and execution phases of corporate events like weddings, seminars, trade fairs, and many other social gatherings.
