An interactive web-based tool developed in R Shiny to support clinicians, researchers and practitioners in selecting appropriate muscle strength assessment methods. The tool is informed by a scoping review of 2009 studies mapping strength assessment practices across populations, settings and geographical regions. Users can filter by population group, setting, body region and strength construct (isometric, dynamic, strength endurance, functional or pain-free strength) to identify commonly used and validated strength assessment methods, along with the supporting literature. The tool accompanies the manuscript "Muscle strength assessment methods across diverse populations and settings: A scoping review with systematic search informing a new strength assessment selection tool" (Hodgson, Goodwin, Ventre, Parchment & Dobbin).
