Résumé fourni par la source

In this 90-minute interactive speed-writing session, we will co-author a guide for: creating and sustaining a regional RSE group, engaging with the regional community and hosting a regional RSE event. We aim to bring together a wealth of siloed knowledge from across different regional RSE communities for the benefit of everyone. We are interested in hearing from a diverse group of people who would like to support regional RSE communities. All are welcome, whether or not you are a member of an existing regional RSE group, or are a current or aspiring organiser of a regional RSE group. During the event you will directly contribute to structured HackMD templates for several pre-identified themes. You will divide into breakout groups and organisers, selected from key figures within the regional RSE community, will act as guides, scribe and hybrid facilitator for each group. Participants in this workshop will be co-authors of all the discussion materials (made available under a CC-BY licence) including a blog post on the SocRSE website and longer-form guidance and resources on the Regional Groups page which will be curated by organisers and volunteers after the event. Included in this record are: The introductory slides for the workshop, as a PDF. Links (inside links.txt) to the online Hackpad being used during the workshop and the introductory slides on Google Sheets.
