Replication package for "Weakening Environmental Enforcement and Homicides: Evidence from Indigenous Territories in Brazil". Contains the assembled municipality-year panel (2010-2022; dataset.RData), an R script (run_paper_canonical.R) that reproduces every estimate, table and figure in the paper, the full data-construction pipeline for documentation (Paper_full_pipeline.R), a robustness script (run_pre2016_robustness.R) that re-estimates the main specification using only Indigenous territories with a FUNAI demarcation milestone before 2016 (Supplementary Material A.3), a script (run_round3_checks.R) that reproduces the geometric treatment-definition checks and the alternative sample and outcome audits (Supplementary Material A.1 and A.3 and the manuscript's sample footnote), the FUNAI territory polygons used by those checks, and pre-computed outputs. All underlying data are drawn from public Brazilian government sources: SIM/DATASUS (mortality), IBGE (population estimates and municipality-biome correspondence), FUNAI (Indigenous territory polygons), and the Geological Survey of Brazil (gold provinces and districts; the scripts download the SGB vector product automatically). Requirements: R >= 4.2 with packages fixest, dplyr, ggplot2; the robustness scripts additionally require sf and an internet connection. See README.md inside the archive.
