IMPROVEMENT OF CUSTOMS PAYMENTS ON UZBEKISTAN'S PATH TO ACCESSION TO THE WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION

This article analyzes the improvement of the customs payments system during the process of the Republic of Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), as well as the alignment of customs payments with international standards. Customs payments play a vital role in enhancing the country's engagement in international trade, facilitating trade operations, and establishing a legal framework aligned with international standards. The article examines the current customs payment system, its legal basis, existing challenges, and comparative analysis with WTO requirements. Furthermore, drawing upon international experience, practical proposals are put forward to enhance customs payments in Uzbekistan.
