Le résumé fourni par la source
This proposal clusters crystallography and bioSAXS projects at the EMBL Grenoble, IBS-CIBB, ILL and IAB. A wide range of projects are included in this BAG application. These range from studying the molecular mechanisms of infection by parasites (eg. T. gondii and Cryptosporidium hominis), bacteria (eg Wolbachia), and various viruses (rabies, Orthopoxviruses, and respiratory syncytial virus etc) and the development of therapeutics targeting these pathways. We also study many different cell signalling processes, from abscisic acid receptors in plants to mammalian cellular receptors and downstream signalling pathway, including kinase signalling and the role of other post-translation modifications, such as ubiquitination. The BAG is also actively involved in methods development from the automation of high throughput fragment screening to the integration of microfluidic devices for time resolved bioSAXS experiments.
