Abstract This dataset documents the migration and diversification of the digital research-data infrastructure used for the SIA Security Intelligence Artefact, internationally identified as: INT-CODE-2025-BTC/ETH-CORE-ISABELSCHOEPSTHIEL and the associated research and publication series: YWP-1-IST-SIA — The Yellow Whitepaper. The migration follows the blocking of the author's Zenodo account on 20 August 2026 and the subsequent dispute concerning access to, availability of and continued publication of research materials previously deposited through that infrastructure. The circumstances surrounding the Zenodo account restriction have been separately documented by the author and have been submitted or communicated to various institutions and authorities for review. This dataset does not purport to make a final judicial or institutional determination regarding the legality of those events or the responsibility of any individual or organization. Instead, its principal scientific purpose is to establish a transparent record of the subsequent repository migration, the diversification of the research-data infrastructure, the preservation of provenance information, and the continued development of a reproducible Chain of Custodyfor research materials. On 26 August 2026, the author resumed and expanded the use of an existing Harvard Dataverse account originally established in June 2026. The migration establishes Harvard Dataverse as an additional research-data repository for future datasets associated with the SIA Security Intelligence Artefact. The objective is to reduce dependency on a single repository and to strengthen persistence, redundancy, version control, citation integrity, research-data provenance and long-term accessibility. 3. Purpose of This First Dataset This first dataset is intended to establish the documentary and scientific foundation for the transition from a predominantly Zenodo-based publication infrastructure toward a diversified research-data architecture incorporating Harvard Dataverse. The dataset therefore serves several purposes simultaneously: documentation of the repository migration; documentation of the circumstances leading to the migration; establishment of a new research-data provenance record; preservation of historical repository references; separation between previous Zenodo records and future Harvard Dataverse records; establishment of a structured Chain of Custody; documentation of the Harvard Dataverse account and Dataverse configuration; clarification of third-party datasets appearing within the Dataverse environment; establishment of future DOI and versioning procedures; preparation for the publication of additional SIA research datasets. This dataset should therefore be understood as a provenance and infrastructure dataset, rather than as a replacement for all previously published research objects. 4. Background The SIA Security Intelligence Artefact is a continuing research and documentation project involving the collection, analysis, classification and preservation of digital source materials. An important component of the project is the preservation of research provenance. For this purpose, research materials have been associated with persistent identifiers, timestamps, metadata, repository records and other documentation intended to establish when and in which form particular digital research objects were available. Until August 2026, Zenodo constituted an important component of this publication and preservation infrastructure. On 20 August 2026, access to the author's Zenodo account was restricted. A Zenodo Support communication reproduced in the author's documentation stated that the account had been banned following a review of uploaded material. The author disputes aspects of the restriction and has documented her objections separately. The present dataset does not resolve that dispute. Instead, the event is treated as the operational trigger for restructuring the repository architecture. 5. Scientific Rationale for Repository Diversification Scientific research-data preservation should not depend unnecessarily upon a single technical service. A repository can constitute a Single Point of Failure where research objects, metadata, persistent identifiers and public accessibility are operationally concentrated in one infrastructure. For research involving provenance-sensitive or evidentiary materials, this dependency presents an additional continuity risk. The migration strategy therefore follows the principle: Preserve the object, preserve the metadata, preserve the provenance, preserve the relationships between versions. The new architecture is intended to provide several independent layers of documentation. These may include: research-data repositories; persistent identifiers; DOI metadata; ORCID attribution; cryptographic hashes; local preservation copies; independent public documentation; repository version histories; timestamps; citation metadata; relations between previous and subsequent versions. Repository diversification does not itself establish authenticity or authorship. Instead, it increases the number of independently verifiable technical and bibliographic reference points available for later scientific examination. 6. Harvard Dataverse Account History The Harvard Dataverse account used for this migration was not first created on 26 August 2026. Available documentation shows that an account had already been established in June 2026. A Harvard Dataverse Support communication dated 15 June 2026 welcomed the user to Harvard Dataverse and provided instructions concerning verification of the registered email address. Accordingly, the Harvard Dataverse infrastructure predates the Zenodo account restriction of 20 August 2026. On 26 August 2026, the existing account was reactivated, accessed and further configured for the future publication and preservation of SIA-related research datasets. 7. Establishment of the SIA Dataverse On 26 August 2026, a Dataverse associated with the author's research environment was configured within Harvard Dataverse. The available interface documentation shows the author as administrator of the Dataverse. The Harvard Dataverse account interface also provides access to functions including: dataset management; Dataverse administration; account information; notifications; API-token functionality; file management; dataset creation; publication management. A Harvard Dataverse Support notification dated 26 August 2026 additionally documents the assignment of multiple technical roles within the relevant Dataverse environment. These include administrative, curatorial, contributor and dataset-related permissions. These technical permissions are relevant to the administration of the Dataverse. They must not be interpreted as evidence of employment, academic appointment, faculty membership or another institutional affiliation with Harvard University. 8. Important Institutional Clarification Harvard Dataverse is the repository infrastructure used for the present research-data publication.
