Integration of Industrial Robot Arms with Electrical Automation Systems for High-Precision Assembly Tasks

Integrating industrial robotic arms into electrical automation systems offers significant opportunities for high-precision assembly processes in modern manufacturing. This study explores a comprehensive framework integrating robotic arms with automation components such as programmable logic controllers, sensors, and actuators, aiming to improve assembly accuracy and efficiency. To minimize errors and enhance system reliability, this integration scheme utilizes real-time feedback and advanced calibration and control strategies to achieve smooth operation. Experimental tests conducted in a controlled factory environment simulating conditions such as varying lighting, surface quality, and overlap demonstrate a significant improvement in assembly accuracy. Furthermore, the integrated system reduces assembly time compared to traditional methods. Despite these advancements, challenges related to system compatibility, communication latency, and hardware limitations remain. These challenges are addressed through advanced software solutions and hardware improvements. The results highlight the potential of this integration scheme in optimizing high-precision assembly processes and pave the way for building more adaptable and efficient manufacturing systems. This research lays the foundation for further research into how to improve the integration of robotics and automation systems in complex industrial applications.
