Metabolomic data from Monilinia fructicola, Monilinia fructigena and Monilinia laxa strains cultivated on different media
Le résumé fourni par la source
The three Monilinia reference strains, M. fructicola Mfrc123, M. laxa Mlax316, and M. fructigena Mfrg269, were cultivated on Yeast Extract Sucrose Agar (YES), Jasmine Rice (JR), and oatmeal agar (OAT) and sampled at 14 days post-inoculation (dpi) for a comparative transcriptomic and metabolomic analysis. Three independent biological replicates were prepared for each species × medium combination. For species-level metabolomic fingerprinting, fifteen Monilinia isolates (five for each species), including the three reference strains and four additional isolates per species, were cultivated once on four different media, namely Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA), Malt Extract Agar (MEA), YES, and JR, and sampled at 14 dpi; JR cultures were additionally sampled at 7 dpi. Metabolites were extracted through sonication in isopropanol/ethyl acetate (1:3, v/v) + 1% formic acid solvent. Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography–diode array detection–quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC–DAD–QTOFMS) was performed using an Agilent Infinity 1290 UHPLC system equipped with a diode array detector.
