Formação docente em tecnologias digitais para utilização do Suap

This research investigated the difficulties faced by professors at the Federal institute of education science and technology of Acre, Rio Branco Campus, related to the use of digital technologies in teaching organization and practice, with a focus on the educational management system Suap. The general objective was to promote continuing education for teachers through the development of a proposal directed at using the Unified Public Administration System (Suap) in the teaching module. The methodology adopted was of an applied nature, qualitative approach, exploratory and descriptive character, using research-training as a theoretical methodological pathway. Data were collected through structured questionnaires applied to the participants. The results revealed an academically qualified teaching staff, however, with gaps in training for the use of digital information and communication technologies (DICTs). The diagnosis showed that 88.9% of participants considered initial training inadequate for the use of digital technologies in education, while 77.8% expressed the need for continuing education. The formative proposal developed, structured in modules with explanatory videos and practical activities, obtained high acceptance, with 93.8% of participants approving the adequacy of the audiovisual resources used. The conclusions indicate that the effectiveness of digital technologies in education does not reside exclusively in technological tools, but in the quality of pedagogical integration, adequacy to specific contexts, and institutional support for teachers' professional development. The resulting educational product consists of an online training course for using Suap teaching module, made available on the Moodle platform and e-book in PDF format.
