Oral Resistome and Antimicrobial Resistance Genes in Human Saliva: A Bibliometric Review from a One Health Perspective (2015–2025) v2
Résumé fourni par la source
This study is a bibliometric review of the literature on the oral resistome and antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) in human saliva, focusing on the characterization of scientific production, collaboration networks, and the thematic structure of the field over the period from 2015 to 2025. A flow diagram was developed to transparently document the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of records in the bibliometric corpus. The review protocol was documented retrospectively to provide a transparent and reproducible record of the methodological procedures adopted, including the search strategy, eligibility criteria, study selection, data extraction, and bibliometric analyses. Searches were conducted in the Web of Science (WoS), PubMed, and Scopus databases, selected for their broad coverage of microbiology, dentistry, genomics, bioinformatics, and public health. Publications indexed between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2025, and published in English or Portuguese were considered.
