Résumé fourni par la source

These data were collected over a field season in Bute Inlet, BC, Canada from August 29 (Julian Day 241) - September 15 (Julian Day 258), 2022. The dataset includes: Daily repeat bathymetry maps of the Homathko Delta - Eighteen bathymetric surveys were collected using a Norbit iWBMsh, 400 kHz multibeam echosounder that was pole-mounted onto a small survey vessel. Data was processed using CARIS HIPS and SIPS software where tidal corrections and sound velocity corrections from acquired sound velocity profiles were applied. Bathymetry surfaces were also cleaned manually to remove outlier soundings. The provided maps are Geotiffs of the cleaned and processed surfaces that were exported with a resolution of 0.5 m and projected in WGS 1984 UTM Zone 10N. The first number in the file name is the Julian Day the map was collected. Grain size analysis of sediment samples from the Homathko Delta - Twenty-seven sediment samples were collected using a Van Veen grab sampler. Sub-samples were processed by removing organics and carbonates. Grain size analysis was completed on sub-samples using a Beckman Coulter Laser Diffration Parcticle Size Analyser at Durham University. The table provided includes the location and grain size fractions for each sample. Moored turbidity sensor time series data from a Homathko Delta tributary submarine channel - A RBR Concerto turbidity sensor was deployed on a mooring from September 4 - September 15, 2022. It measured every 130 s and was positioned 10 m above the seafloor. The excel file provided includes the location of the mooring recorded over the deployment and turbidity measurements in NTU. Time was recorded in BST (GMT+1).
