The Transformation of the Industry 4.0 Paradigm to Industry 5.0

The revolution in the industrial sector, which is referred to as Industry 4.0, leads to the integration of advanced digital technology into manufacturing and digital operations. Further, it is distinguished by ubiquity connection, rapid connectivity data transfer, smart manufacturing, better usage of online available resources, artificial intelligence, and printing with 3D printers. Manufacturers and other businesses have adopted these technologies in order to improve the experience of customers while increasing profits. The goal of merging technical and human capabilities into the Industry 5.0 is to enhance the prosperity of all social components, rather than simply profiting. The forthcoming transformation in commerce and product development is going to be unlike any other, with innovative human–robot interactions and an emphasis on societal well-being. Continuous the shift to an industry that is more flexible, human-centered, and sustainable is being prompted by technological advances and research. The concept of Industry 5.0 is discussed in this chapter, along with a comparison of the same with the Industry 4.0.
