Potentially traumatic events and PTSD in Dutch veterans

We aim to determine the up-to-date and representative estimate of the lifetime and current prevalence of (complex) PTSD among Dutch veterans, together with their (lifetime) exposure to traumatic events. We further aim to identify help-seeking behavior, healthcare utilization, barriers towards help-seeking and needs, to get insight into the treatment gap. We will also focus on sex differences and identification of risk factors associated with PTSD.
