Le résumé fourni par la source

The present study documents the occurrence of Cyclocybe cylindracea in Pakistan, collected during the monsoon season in July 2024 from District Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Detailed morphological and molecular characterization confirmed its identity, with ITS-based phylogenetic analysis clustering the Pakistani isolate with C. aegerita sequences from New Zealand and Argentina. Proximate nutritional analysis showed that the mushroom contains 9.01% moisture, 4.22% crude protein, 3.95% fat, 5.16% crude fiber, 9.88% ash, and 67.78% carbohydrates, highlighting its value as a potential health-promoting food. Comparisons with related species suggest interspecific variations due to environmental and genetic factors. The high carbohydrate and mineral content, along with moderate protein and fat levels, position C. cylindracea as a valuable dietary supplement with good shelf stability. This study enriches the understanding of Pakistan’s macrofungal diversity and emphasizes the nutritional potential of Cyclocybe species, warranting further exploration for their functional food applications.
