Supporting dataset and analysis code for the manuscript "Phenological precipitation windows are associated with carotenoid pigmentation in durum wheat: within-network prediction and genotype stability across contrasting environments," submitted to the European Journal of Agronomy. Contents:- Definitive_Dataset_FCR_v3_FINAL.xlsx plot-level yellow index dataset (871 plots, 35 cultivars × 7 stations × 7 harvest years, 2017–2023)- PPM_to_bstar_calibration.xlsx ppm-to-b* colorimetric calibration data (n = 45 paired samples)- Daily_Climate_GDD_7stations.csv daily ERA5-Land/CHIRPS climate data and GDD alignment, seven-station network- Daily_Climate_GDD_2019_2020.csv supplementary daily climate data for 2019–2020- reproduce_manuscript_FULL.py analysis script that runs end to end from the raw data and reproduces every statistic, table, and figure input reported in the manuscript Analyses used Python 3.10 with pandas 2.2, NumPy 2.2, SciPy 1.13, scikit-learn 1.5, and statsmodels 0.14. The script prints its own package versions and random seed at the end of each run.
