Le résumé fourni par la source

This repository hosts documentation of suspicious, apparently manipulated or otherwise problematic antibody verification data in the catalogs of laboratory reagent vendors. As of 25 August 2026, this repository documents 18,943 problematic images across 17,495 products in the antibody catalogs of 16 companies. Others can submit potentially problematic images that they have spotted in any vendor's catalog at this Google form. This repository is intended to collect instances of suspicious antibody verification data represented by the vendor as internally-produced. Some vendors (e.g., Thermo Fisher) also host data on their site demonstrating the use of their product in peer-reviewed articles. While spotting problematic images in these figures is valuable, we recommend leaving comments on the original article's PubPeer page instead of reporting issues using this form. The spreadsheet _catch_all_spreadsheet.csv describes all collected instances of problematic images. The archive _original_images.zip contains all images as originally downloaded from the vendor's website. The archive _annotated_images.zip contains annotations of each image that demonstrate the identified problems. catch_all_spreadsheet.csv has the following columns: image_index: a unique index for each image in the spreadsheet vendor: the vendor selling the product in question (e.g., "Thermo Fisher Scientific") catalog_number: the catalog number of the product in question (e.g., "MA5-12557") product_title: the product title as it appears in the vendor's catalog (e.g., "p53 Monoclonal Antibody (DO-7) - MA5-12557") product_link: the URL of the product page original_image_filename: the filename of the original image as it appears in _original_images.zip annotated_image_filename: the filename of the annotated image as it appears in _annotated_images.zip summary: a brief description of the identified issues in the image identified_by: a description of who originally identified/annotated this image as problematic first_identified: the date on which the image was identified/anntotated as problematic external_links: URLs to any social media posts/blogs where the observation was original posted online Vendor Number of problematic images Number of affected products Abcam 185 115 Abnova 154 145 Antibodies.com 242 242 Bioss 305 292 Boster Biological Technology 120 96 G-Biosciences 6388 6373 GeneTex 38 38 HUABIO 209 203 LSBio 2695 2536 Millipore Sigma 39 31 NeoBiotechnologies 2 2 Origene 2236 1959 Proteogenix 362 362 R&D Systems 263 171 Santa Cruz Biotechnology 125 111 Thermo Fisher Scientific 5580 4819
