Data supporting: Yield stability, morphological performance and environmental adaptation of Bambara groundnut across contrasting agroecological zones

This dataset contains the data underlying the study “Yield stability, morphological performance and environmental adaptation of Bambara groundnut across contrasting agroecological zones”. The study evaluated 15 Bambara groundnut genotypes across six environments corresponding to two contrasting agroecological zones (humid forest and savanna) and three growing seasons (2010–2012) in Côte d’Ivoire. The dataset includes individual grain yield observations, morphological traits (plant height, number of leaves, total leaf area, and total dry biomass), and environmental data including climatic variables and soil properties. These data were used to assess genotype × environment interaction, yield stability and adaptability using AMMI, GGE biplot, WAASB, WAASBY, AMMI Stability Index, and Euclidean distance approaches, as well as to investigate relationships among grain yield, morphological traits, soil properties, and climatic variables using correlation and principal component analyses. The dataset is provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and further research on Bambara groundnut adaptation under contrasting agroecological conditions.
