Pparα AKO (adipose-scpecific knockout) mice, we obtained by crossing Pparαflox/flox mice (provided by F.J. Gonzales, described previously PMID: 28082284) and Adiponectin-Cre mice. All mice were housed, 5 per cage, in a temperature-controlled, specific pathogen–free facility with a 12-hour light /12-hour dark cycle and ad libitum access to water and food at room temperature (22±2°C). 12 weeks old male mice were sacrificed between ZT3-ZT4, and BAT was used for RNA sequencing (3 WT and 3 KO mice).
