What's new in 3.0 Single-cell expression module — an interactive UMAP workspace for a developmental scRNA-seq time course of wild-type AX4 and two cAMP-signalling mutants (acaA⁻ and acaA⁻pkaCOE). Cells can be coloured by gene expression, developmental time or cell type, with mutants mapped into the AX4 reference frame so patterns remain comparable across strains. Single-cell views join the shared gene selection — selecting genes in any bulk module now also recolours the UMAP, and vice versa. New React/TypeScript client — replaces the previous web client, with a rearrangeable drag-and-drop dashboard and persistent layouts. Client-side single-cell data — expression matrices are served as static per-gene Zarr chunks and cached in the browser, so recolouring the UMAP needs no server-side computation. Optional serverless endpoints — similar-gene search and GO enrichment can be answered by /find-similar and /go functions instead of scheduled backend processes. Both are configuration-gated and fall back transparently when unset. The bulk analysis workflow (expression time courses, differential expression, hierarchical clustering, GO enrichment, bookmarking and ZIP export) is preserved from 2.0.
