In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we aim to evaluate the current body of evidence of proteomic and metabolomic profiling across peripheral fluid, cerebrospinal fluid and brain tissue in individuals with a diagnosed bipolar disorder, to identify robust biomarkers for diagnostic validation.
