This corrigendum addresses an error in Husemann & Hawlitschek (2026) regarding the synonymy of Sphingonotus asper (Brullé, 1840) and S. ( N. ). pachecoi (Bolívar, 1908). In the original publication, we erroneously designated S. asper (Brullé, 1840) as syn. nov. of S. pachecoi (Bolívar, 1908). However, S. asper has priority. Therefore, we now treat S. pachecoi (Bolívar, 1908) as syn. nov. of S. asper (Brullé, 1840).
