Deliverable D2.1 Provision of software code

This deliverable documents the data retrieval and enrichment software developed for the 3D Big DataSpace for Cultural Heritage (3DBDS) and released as a public, open-source repository. The software harvestscultural-heritage records from a range of providers — Europeana (Europeana APIs), the Smithsonian OpenAccess 3D API, OAI-PMH endpoints (including NFDI4Ing, whose 3D holdings are curated by TIB Hannover andULB Darmstadt, OAI-PMH 2.0 protocol specification), Scan the World / MyMiniFactory, the Hunt Museum —normalises them into a single, well-defined data model, and stores them in a portable SQLite database. Optional modules add enrichment (geocoding, place-name extraction and large-language-model classification) and 3D-asset conversion (glTF to USDZ, point-cloud cleaning).
