Le résumé fourni par la source

Lightweight X-ray mirrors with high angular resolution and a large effective area are essential for clarifying the coevolution of galaxies and black holes. To realize such mirrors, we are developing X-ray optics using carbon fiber–reinforced plastic (CFRP), a light yet strong material that can be formed into various shapes. However, CFRP exhibits a finely textured surface pattern known as print-through, which makes the surface too rough for X-ray reflection. To mitigate print-through, we developed a method to form a thin amorphous NiP layer on the CFRP surface. The NiP layer is then finished using ultra-precision machining to achieve the surface smoothness required for X-ray reflection. We are currently developing a Wolter-I CFRP mirror shell. The mirror shell has an aperture diameter of 100 mm, a focal length of 2000 mm, and a segment length of 100 mm for both the parabolic and hyperbolic sections. We will present the current status of this mirror development.
