This dataset contains the data extracted from the primary studies included in the scoping review of viral pathogens associated with spillover events. The dataset includes study-level information, extracted characteristics, and data used to characterize and rank viral pathogens according to their representation and evidence across the included studies. The dataset was used for the analyses reported in the associated review protocol and manuscript.
